The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam coordinated with the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry Branch in Nghe An to organize a training conference
In the context of international economic integration becoming more and more extensive as it is today, a series of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) between Vietnam and other countries around the world have been signed and are in the process of being implemented. Trade remedies cases including anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, and safeguard against Vietnamese exports are also increasing.
To support associations and businesses to be more proactive in handling and responding to foreign trade remedies investigations as well as using trade remedies tools allowed by law to protect the legitimate interests of the enterprise, on October 6, 2023, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (Ministry of Industry and Trade) and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry Branch in Nghe An jointly organized a training conference "Regulations and practices on trade remedies".
At the Conference, experts presented an overview of trade remedies in the context of integration; practice and the impact of trade remedies measures in recent times; the situation of investigation and application of trade remedies on Vietnam's exported goods as well as experience in responding to trade remedies cases on exported goods.

Here, participating delegates also shared opinions and discussed with experts on issues related to the field of trade remedies, difficulties and problems in real situation of enterprises.

The training conference has received great attention from associations and businesses. This is also an opportunity to jointly look at the chances and challenges that Free Trade Agreements bring. It simultaneously raises awareness and understanding in the field of trade remedies which contributes to helping businesses respond to trade remedies lawsuits abroad, limit damage to the domestic manufacturing industry and protect the legitimate interests of Vietnamese businesses.
