The Ministry of Industry and Trade extends the investigation period for applying anti-dumping measures on prestressed steel wire rope products from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China (case code: AD17)

On July 5, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1704/QD-BCT to investigate and apply anti-dumping measures on prestressed steel wire rope products from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China.

In order to have more time to comprehensively and objectively consider issues related to the case as well as opinions of relevant parties, based on the provisions of Article 70 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management No. 05/2017/QH14, dated June 5, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1360/QD-BCT extending the investigation period for applying anti-dumping measures on prestressed steel wire rope products from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China (case code: AD17) for another 06 months, accordingly the investigation period for the case is January 5, 2025.
