The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam announces the receipt of a dossier requesting a final review of anti-dumping measures on certain plastic products and plastic products made from propylene polymers originating from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China
On July 20, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1900/QD-BCT on the application of official anti-dumping tax on certain plastic products and plastic products made from propylene polymers originating from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China (case code: AD07).
Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 82 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management, 01 year before the end of the period of application of anti-dumping measures, the Minister of Industry and Trade shall issue a decision to conduct a final review of the application of anti-dumping measures. The content of the final review is specified in Clause 2, Article 82 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Article 63 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP dated January 15, 2018 detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management on trade defense measures (hereinafter referred to as Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP).
The Department of Trade Defense officially announces the receipt of the request for a final review of the case. According to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 62 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP, within 30 days from the date of this notice from the Investigation Agency, domestic producers have the right to submit a request for a final review of the application of anti-dumping measures. The deadline for the Trade Defense Department to receive the dossier is no later than May 24, 2024.
