Notice of receipt of dossiers requesting exemption from anti-dumping measures in the final review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain flat-rolled, painted alloy or non-alloy steel products originating from the Republic of Korea and the People's Republic of China
On October 24, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2822⁄QD-BCT on the results of the final review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain flat-rolled, painted alloy or non-alloy steel products originating from the Republic of Korea and the People's Republic of China (case code ER01.AD04).
Pursuant to Clause 5, Article 1 of Circular No. 42/2023/TT-BCT dated December 28, 2023 of the Minister of Industry and Trade amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT dated November 29, 2019 of the Minister of Industry and Trade detailing a number of contents on trade defense measures, the Department of Trade Defense (DTD) announces the receipt of dossiers requesting exemption from anti-dumping measures for a number of flat-rolled, painted alloy or non-alloy steel products originating from the Republic of Korea and the People's Republic of China. Accordingly, the goods proposed for exemption are certain color-coated steel products originating from the People's Republic of China and classified under the following HS codes: 7210.70.12, 7210.70.13, 7210.70.19, 7210.70.21, 7210.70.29, 7210.70.91, 7210.70.99, 7212.40.11, 7212.40.12, 7212.40.13, 7212.40.14, 7212.40.19, 7212.40.91, 7212.40.99, 7225.99.90, 7226.99.19, 7226.99.99.
Note: In case an enterprise that has been granted an exemption for 2024 is about to use up the granted exemption volume, the enterprise can submit a supplementary exemption application according to the provisions of Clause 4, Article 16 of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT at any time in 2024.
Pursuant to Article 15 and Clause 3, Article 16 of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT, the PVTM Department recommends that enterprises submit exemption application documents before December 1, 2024 according to the following instructions:
