Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam issued Decision No. 22⁄QĐ-BCT on the Final results of the Second Administrative Review of Anti-dumping Duty on Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) originating in the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia (Case number: AR02.AD09)

On 19 June 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam (MOIT) issued Decision No. 1466/QĐ-BCT on the initiation of the Second Administrative Review of Anti-dumping Duty on Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) originating in the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia (Case number: AR02.AD09).

The MOIT started investigating this case in June 2023 based on the request of Fufeng Group (China) submitted in April 2023. During the investigation, MOIT has complied with the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Decree No.10/2018/ND-CP dated 15 January 2018 detailing some articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management on trade remedies.

On 05 January 2024, MOIT issued Decision No.22/QĐ-BCT on the Results of the Second Administrative Review of Anti-dumping Duty on Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) originating in the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia. The result shows that there is a change in the dumping margin of the Fufeng group, detailed in the Notice attached to Decision No. 22/QĐ-BCT.
