The Ministry of Industry and Trade has completed the final review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain cold-rolled stainless steel products originating from Taiwan (China), the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia and the People's Republic of China
On November 12, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3011⁄QD-BCT on the results of the final review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain cold-rolled stainless steel products originating from Taiwan (China), the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia and the People's Republic of China (case ER02.AD01).
Based on the results of the review, implementation of WTO regulations, the Law on Foreign Trade Management, guiding documents and opinions of relevant parties, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has decided to terminate and not extend the application of anti-dumping measures on some cold-rolled stainless steel products originating from Taiwan (China), the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia and the People's Republic of China. In the coming time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with relevant agencies and units to continue to closely monitor the import situation of some cold-rolled stainless steel products from various sources into Vietnam to promptly take appropriate measures, in accordance with international commitments and domestic laws to protect the legitimate interests of the domestic manufacturing industry as well as consumers.
