Investigation Questionnaire for Domestic Producers and Importers – Investigation Case of Anti-dumping Measures on Galvanized Steel Products Originating from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea (AD19)

On June 14, 2024, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1535⁄QD-BCT and the accompanying Notice on the investigation of anti-dumping measures on certain galvanized steel products originating from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea (case code: AD19).

The investigating authority has issued an investigation questionnaire to domestic producers and importers to collect information and data for the case. specific:

- The Investigation Questionnaire is publicly posted on the PVTM File Receiving System (online.trav.gov.vn) and the electronic information page of the Investigation Agency (www.pvtm.gov.vn), the Ministry of Industry and Trade (www.moit.gov.vn);

- Deadline for submitting the Questionnaire Response: before 17:00 on August 5, 2024 (Hanoi time);

- How to submit the Questionnaire Response:

+ Submit online at the PVTM File Receiving System at https://online.trav.gov.vn;

+ Detailed instructions, regulations and submission methods: Appendix 3 and documents attached to the Investigation Questionnaire;

 

To ensure their rights and interests, the Investigation Agency requests that all domestic manufacturers and related importers participate in answering the Investigation Questionnaire and fully cooperate throughout the case. The content of the Questionnaire will be the basis for the Investigation Agency to consider and draw conclusions on the investigation of the case. In case the Investigation Agency does not receive the Questionnaire on time from the relevant parties or in case the information provided is incorrect or incomplete as requested, the Investigation Agency will apply the provisions of Article 10 of Decree 10/2018/ND-CP on the non-cooperation of relevant parties in the trade defense case.

Note: For importers of investigating goods, in order to ensure their own interests, in addition to answering the Investigation Questionnaire, importers also need to proactively transfer information to export partners in the above countries to answer the Investigation Questionnaire for foreign manufacturers/exporters.

How to answer the parts of the questionnaire, the quantity to be submitted, the form of submission and the deadline for submission are detailed instructions in the Questionnaire for enterprises. Therefore, it is recommended that businesses read the instructions carefully before answering and submitting the Questionnaire within the prescribed time limit.
