The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam inaugurated the “Happy Classroom” in Nua Ngam Commune, Dien Bien District, Dien Bien Province

Responding to the emulation movement “Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide” launched by the Central Emulation and Reward Council and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) to concretize Resolution No. 42-NQ⁄TW dated November 24, 2023, the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee continued to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period;

Towards celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country and National Day on September 2 (1945-2025) and the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20;

Implementing the Youth Union and Youth Movement Program for the 2024-2027 term, in order to spread the spirit of shock, volunteerism, and creativity of the youth union members, continue to "ignite the fire" so that young people can enthusiastically achieve new achievements in the "Youth Volunteer" movement, promote the tradition of mutual love and support;

The Youth Union of the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam deployed the volunteer program "Road to Dien Bien - Happy Classroom" at Huoi Hua School, Nua Ngam Commune Kindergarten, Dien Bien District, Dien Bien Province.

Huoi Hua School, Nua Ngam Commune Kindergarten is one of the disadvantaged schools in the commune. The school has about 3 teachers and 60 students, but does not have classrooms, so the students have to study at the neighboring primary school in conditions of lacking equipment.

The students' circumstances are basically far away, the roads are difficult to travel, their parents often go to work in the fields so they have to leave their children at school during lunch. The teaching and learning process for both teachers and students is very difficult.

Through studying and understanding the circumstances of teachers and students at the school, based on the consent of the Board of Directors of the Department of Biotechnology as well as the support of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Department, the Youth Union of the Department of Biotechnology has implemented the volunteer program "Road to Dien Bien - Happy Classroom"

From the very first days of launching, the Program has received the response and support of not only members of the Department of Biotechnology, but also philanthropists; besides, there is also support from socialized resources.

After more than 3 months of launching, the Program has received a lot of support from not only the officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Department but also the attention of other groups and individuals and support from socialized resources. The support money was used to build 02 classrooms, 01 kitchen and 01 shared toilet with a total area of ​​about 155m2, serving the learning of more than 60 preschool students in Nua Ngam commune; along with many artifacts such as learning equipment, projectors, tables and chairs, jackets, boots and candy.

On the morning of November 18, 2024, after only more than 25 days of urgent construction, the project was inaugurated with the participation of the PVTM Department Volunteer Group. The PVTM Department Volunteer Group, on behalf of benefactors and sponsors, sent 123 gifts to the students along with other gifts such as jackets, boots and candy. Other equipment such as tables and chairs, projectors, teaching equipment, 02 microwaves, etc. have also been installed to help students and teachers have a better learning and working environment, supporting some of the difficulties at the school.
