Trade Remedies Authority announces the receipt of dossiers requesting the review of anti-dumping measures on certain long yarn products made from polyester originating in the Republic of India, the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China

On 28th September, 2019, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam issued Decision No. 2302⁄QD-BCT on the imposition of the definitive anti-dumping measures on certain long yarn products made from polyester originating in the Republic of India, the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China.

On 1st November, 2023, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam issued Decision No. 2866/QD-BCT on the results of the first review of anti-dumping measures on certain long yarn products made from polyester originating in the Republic of India, the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China.

Article 58 (1) of Decree 10/2018/ND-CP stipulates: " Within 60 days before the end of one year from the date of issuance of the decision on the imposition of official anti-dumping measures and countervailing measures or the latest decision on the results of the review of anti-dumping measures, countervailing measures, the interested parties as prescribed in Article 59 hereof may submit the dossiers for review, except for cases where the submission deadline is less than 09 months before the time limit for the Minister of Industry and Trade to decide whether to carry out the final review of anti-dumping or countervailing measures."

According to Article 59 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP, interested parties may request for a review of the application of anti dumping measures to polyester long yarn products by 1st November, 2024.
