Trade Remedies Authority issues Questionnaire for foreign manufacturers/exporters in the final review of anti-dumping measures on certain welding materials originating from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand, the People’s Republic of China (Case Code: ER01.AD15)

On June 19, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1453/QĐ-BCT initiating a final review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain welding materials originating from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand, the People’s Republic of China (Case Code: ER01.AD15).

The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (the Investigating Authority) has distributed Review Questionnaires to foreign manufacturers and exporters involved in the case. The deadline for submitting responses is August 09, 2026 (Hanoi time).

To ensure their legitimate rights and interests, the Investigating Authority encourages all relevant foreign manufacturers and exporters to participate and fully cooperate throughout the review process.

In case the Investigating Authority does not receive timely responses, or if the information submitted is inaccurate or incomplete, the authority may rely on available facts to draw conclusions in accordance with Article 75 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.

All information and data submitted during the review process, as well as the rights of interested parties to access case information, will be handled in accordance with the provisions on confidentiality under the Law on Foreign Trade Management and its implementing regulations.

Detailed guidance on how to complete and submit the questionnaire, including submission methods and deadlines, is provided directly within the questionnaire. The investigating authority therefore recommends that companies carefully review the instructions prior to completion and ensure timely submission.
