Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam Signs Memorandum of Understanding with VietnamPlus (VOV)

On 4 November 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Electronic Newspaper held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in trade remedies communications, marking the beginning of closer and more effective cooperation between the two sides toward sustainable development.

The ceremony was attended by leaders of the two agencies and representatives of their professional staff.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Luong Hoang Thai, Director General of the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam, stated that the signing of the MoU was a “milestone in strengthening coordination between a state management agency and a reputable Vietnamese press and media organization”, contributing to raising awareness among the business community of trade remedies regulations and procedures, providing early warnings of potential risks, and supporting enterprises in proactively responding to trade remedy cases.

For VOV, Mr. Ngo Thieu Phong, Editor-in-Chief of the Voice of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, affirmed that VOV would closely coordinate with the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam to deliver comprehensive and timely information to the public and business community, with a view to protecting domestic production, building social consensus, and safeguarding the legitimate interests of Vietnamese enterprises.

Leveraging the respective strengths and experience of the two sides, the cooperation is expected to contribute to providing accurate, comprehensive and timely information to the appropriate target audiences, particularly the business community.
