Successfully Organizing the Youth Union Member Conference of the Trade Remedies Authority's Branch for the 2025-2027 Term

Following the directive of the Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Youth Union in Official Letter No. 13-KH/ĐTNB-VP dated August 18, 2025, regarding "Organizing Youth Union congresses at all levels, leading to the 5th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2025-2030," and with the approval of the Party Committee of the Trade Remedies Authority, on September 3, 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority's Branch Youth Union organized the Branch Youth Union Member Conference for the 2025-2027 term to evaluate the results of Youth Union activities and youth movements during the 2024-2027 term (2024-2025 period) and to set forth directions and tasks for the 2025-2027 term. 2027.

The period of 2024-2025 was marked by changes related to the restructuring and streamlining of the political system and the merger of administrative units at all levels; however, with the attention of the Party Committee, the leadership of the Authority, the leadership of the units under the Authority, the Executive Committee of the Ministry's Youth Union, the close coordination of the Authority's Trade Union and other Youth Union branches, and the support of the union members as well as all cadres, civil servants, and employees of the Authority of Trade Protection, the Youth Union work and youth movement of the Authority's Youth Union branch in the 2024-2025 period still achieved good and encouraging results.

Regarding education, the Youth Union branch actively propagated and mobilized each union member to raise awareness and strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Regularly organizing activities to help union members gain a better understanding, appreciation, preservation, and promotion of historical and traditional values.

Regarding youth volunteer work, in 2024, the Youth Union of the Authority of Trade Protection successfully organized the volunteer program "Road to Dien Bien - Happy Classroom," holding the inauguration ceremony for the "Happy Classroom" project at Huoi Hua school, Nua Ngam Commune Kindergarten, Dien Bien District, Dien Bien Province. With a total area of ​​155 m², the "Happy Classroom" project was built in just 25 days, comprising 2 classrooms, 1 kitchen, and 1 toilet, providing a spacious and cozy learning space for the students. The total cost of the program reached nearly 600 million VND.

Regarding cultural, artistic, and sports activities, the Youth Union of the Authority of Trade Promotion always encourages and creates opportunities for its members to showcase their talents and promote spirit through healthy competition. On March 23, 2025, the Youth Union of the Authority of Trade Promotion and the Youth Union of the Industry and Trade Magazine successfully organized the MOIT Pickleball Championship 2025, which attracted over 80 athletes from units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The goal was to create a platform for officials, civil servants, and employees of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to improve their health, enhance their sportsmanship, and strengthen solidarity, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks.

Alongside these activities, improving the skills and professional qualifications of its members is a top priority for the Youth Union. Specifically, with the support of the Authority's leadership and the leadership of its subordinate units, many members of the Youth Union branch have been deeply involved in professional activities, drafting legal documents, and have had the opportunity to present at workshops and conferences, carrying out the task of disseminating knowledge about trade protection to state management agencies and the business community of the Authority. In 2024, the Youth Union branch was assigned the task of sending members to participate in developing the content for one ministerial-level science and technology project.

The Youth Union branch of the Trade Protection Authority for the 2022-2024 term has paid special attention to Party building work through introducing many outstanding members to attend Party awareness classes, joining the Party, and transferring to full Party membership.

In light of the above positive results, in 2024, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union branch received a Certificate of Commendation from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Three Certificates of Merit from the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union and a Certificate of Commendation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Youth Union were awarded to the collective for outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements in 2024. In addition, the Youth Union branch also received 19 specialized Certificates of Merit from the Central Agencies Bloc Youth Union for individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing movements during the 2022-2024 period, and two Certificates of Commendation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Youth Union for individuals with outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements in 2024.

Speaking at the conference, the Party Secretary and Director of the Trade Protection Authority, Luong Hoang Thai, praised the achievements of the Youth Union branch in the past period and affirmed his continued support for the branch's activities in the next term. Comrade Luong Hoang Thai also encouraged the Youth Union members to further promote the spirit and enthusiasm of youth.
