Conference summarizing the Emulation Block VI of the Industry and Trade Sector in 2024

On November 22, 2024, in Hai Phong City, the Department of Trade Defense and 05 units: the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, the General Department of Market Management, the Department of Domestic Market, the Department of Trade Promotion and the Department of Import and Export held the Conference summarizing the Emulation Block VI of the Industry and Trade Sector in 2024 and the Sports Festival Program of the Emulation Block VI of the Industry and Trade Sector.

The conference was attended by Mr. Vu Truong Son - Vice President of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade; Ms. Nguyen Minh Hue - Director, President of the Trade Union, Ministry of Industry and Trade; representative of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel; Leaders of the units: the General Department of Market Management, the Department of Trade Defense, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, the Department of Import and Export, the Department of Trade Promotion and the Department of Domestic Market along with civil servants and public employees of the Emulation Block VI of the Industry and Trade Sector.

According to Decision No. 1160/QD-BCT dated May 14, 2024 of the Minister of Industry and Trade recognizing the Heads, Deputy Heads, Clusters, Deputy Clusters of the Emulation Blocks and Clusters of the Industry and Trade sector in 2024, the Department of Trade Defense is the Head of the Block, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy is the Deputy Head of the Block.

The summary conference and Sports Festival of the Emulation Block VI of the Industry and Trade sector in 2024 was held to summarize the 11 months of 2024 and deploy tasks for the last month of 2024, and the plan for 2025.

In the emulation program of Block VI, the units have closely integrated/combined the implementation of the emulation movement with the promotion of "Studying and following the ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh"; the implementation of the "Commitment to fulfill the responsibilities of the head" has created a strong change in the awareness, responsibility, discipline, and working methods of individuals and collectives.

Units continue to innovate working style, management methods, manners, order, strengthen discipline, strictly comply with work and public service, enhance the responsibility of leaders; implement thrift and combat waste. Complete with quality and efficiency the programs, plans and assigned tasks with the spirit of "Discipline, responsibility, proactive, timely, professional and effective".

Sports activities are common activities of the Bloc to promote the Bloc's movement, enhance exchanges, professional exchanges, experience in emulation, rewards, sports exchanges to improve health. On the occasion of the Conference to summarize the 6th Emulation Bloc, the Bloc's sports festival program took place excitingly, joyfully, unitedly and also very fiercely. This is also an activity to promote the results achieved in the activities of the VI Emulation Bloc in 2023, continue to promote the spirit of solidarity among units in the Bloc, contribute to improving the effectiveness of the patriotic emulation movement and emulation and reward work, creating motivation to successfully complete assigned tasks.

For the Department of Trade Defense, in the past time, the Department of Trade Defense has launched emulation movements, led and directed the response to emulation movements; organized and implemented emulation and reward work and emulation movements in Party committees, professional organizations, and trade unions associated with the implementation of political tasks, promoting the tradition of striving, enhancing the sense of responsibility, proactiveness, creativity, determination to perform and excellently complete assigned tasks.

In 2024, the country will celebrate the 76th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2024). The Industry and Trade sector, including Block VI, is facing new requirements and tasks with new opportunities, advantages, difficulties and challenges intertwined in the era of national development. In order to promote the results and achievements that have been achieved, promote and improve the emulation movement and reward work, meet the requirements of tasks in the coming time, continue to thoroughly grasp and implement Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation, and integrate emulation work into the daily work of each person as Uncle Ho taught. Looking back on the 2 years since the establishment of Block VI, the units in Block VI are very united, not only coordinating smoothly to complete professional tasks well but also sharing in sports and cultural exchange activities.
