The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam Issues the Questionnaire for Foreign Producers/Exporters in the Sunset Review of Anti-Dumping Measures on Certain Cold-Rolled (Cold-Pressed) Steel Products in Coils or Sheets Originating from the People's Republic of China (Case No. ER01.AD08)
On December 25, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Decision No. 3565/QD-BCT on the sunset review of the application of anti-dumping measures on certain cold-rolled (cold-pressed) steel products in coils or sheets originating from the People's Republic of China (Case No. ER01.AD08). Details regarding the scope, contents, and timeline of the investigation are set out in Decision No. 3565/QD-BCT and the accompanying Notice.
The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (the Investigating Authority) has issued the official investigation questionnaire to the foreign producers/exporters known to the Investigating Authority and requested them to submit their responses. The deadline for submitting the questionnaire response is February 14, 2025 (Hanoi time).
To ensure their rights and legitimate interests, the Investigating Authority requests all relevant foreign producers/exporters to participate in and fully cooperate throughout the investigation process. The responses to the questionnaire will serve as a basis for the Investigating Authority to consider limiting the scope of the investigation through sampling, where necessary. If the Investigating Authority does not receive timely responses from foreign producers/exporters, or if the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete as required, the Investigating Authority will use the facts available to make its determination in accordance with Article 75 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.
The information and data provided in response to the Investigating Authority's questionnaire, as well as the parties' access to information concerning the case during the investigation, will be handled in accordance with the regulations on confidentiality under Article 11 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP dated January 15, 2018, detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management concerning trade remedies.
Detailed instructions on how to respond to each section of the questionnaire, the submission format, and the submission deadline are provided in the questionnaire for enterprises. Therefore, the Investigating Authority requests the relevant enterprises to carefully review the instructions before preparing and submitting their responses within the prescribed deadline.
