Ministry of Industry and Trade Extends the Review Period on the Application of Trade Remedy Circumvention Measures for Certain Sugar Products (Case Code: AR02.AC02.AD13-AS01)

On December 24, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3485/QĐ-BCT on the review of the application of measures against the circumvention of trade remedy measures for certain sugar products (Case Code: AR02.AC02.AD13-AS01).

To allow for a more comprehensive and objective examination of the issues related to the case, and pursuant to Articles 82 and 90 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management No. 05/2017/QH14, on May 26, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1449/QĐ-BCT to extend the review period on the application of anti-circumvention trade remedy measures for certain sugar products (Case Code: AR02.AC02.AD13-AS01) by three months. Accordingly, the deadline for completing the investigation is now September 24, 2025.
